The Journey

ree

I joined Downtown Disarray from day one, watching it grow from an idea into a full-scale production. What began as a modern Western set in the Southeast, dubbed a "Sweastern," quickly became a testament to ambition and community support. After completing the script in early 2024, we dove straight into fundraising and event coordination, and successfully secured fiscal sponsorship with Filmmakers Collaborative. With an ambitious idea came an ambitious budget, but thanks to overwhelming community support, we secured the necessary funds just in time for our February 2025 shoot, exactly one year after this journey began.

Now finalized in post-production, we’re excited to

bring Downtown Disarray to festivals soon!

Promotional Videos

Showcased across our social media platforms, these promo videos recreated iconic scenes from classic Westerns, serving as a creative strategy to promote the film to audiences of all generations.

Shortly after releasing our self-funded guerrilla-style promos we found they were highly successful in capturing attention and generating buzz

Event Coordination

A ton of coordination went into creating promotional videos and managing social media, which we used to promote our fundraising events. These tools helped us connect with the community, along with our efforts at tabling in Forsyth Park.
